Master Classes in 2e Education
The 2e Center for Research and Professional Development will host Master Classes in 2e Education from June 24-29, 2018, at Bridges Academy in Studio City, CA.
Leading experts in the field -- including 2e Hall of Fame teachers L. Dennis Higgins, Ed.D., and M. Elizabeth Nielsen, Ph.D., plus Rachel McAnallen, Ph.D. (AKA Ms. Math), and children's literature specialist Susannah Richards, Ph.D. -- will join 2e Center Director Susan Baum, Ph.D., for a week of learning.
This six-day group of classes serves as a professional development opportunity for participants to refine and expand their expertise in 2e education by studying and learning from the masters.
The Master Classes are held at the Bridges Academy campus in Studio City, CA, and are conducted by 2e education professionals highly experienced in the areas of:
•Strength-based, talent-focused instruction
•Engaging students into literacy
•Mathematics for the 2e learner
•Executive function, and academic and emotional regulation
From Sunday night to Friday noon, participants will enjoy daily breakfasts and lunches, as well as a Sunday "Getting to Know You" barbecue, and a Thursday field trip to Bridges school psychologist Lesli Preuss' Buddy Building Camp for 2e
children ages 8 to 13, plus dinner at the camp.
