Bridges Own William Barnett Honored

Bridges Academy 8th grader William King Barnett has been named this year's winner of the Smart Kids With Learning Disabilities Junior Achievement Award. More than 150 applications were submitted nationally for this honor. According to an award spokesperson, William was selected for his academic excellence and the creation and performance of original music. The award presentation will take place March 12 in Westport, Connecticut. Smart Kids With LD is an organization dedicated to empowering bright students with learning disabilities.
