We thank the 50+ families and numerous friends in the community who have already donated to Bridges’ first-ever Capital Campaign and helped to make Bridges’ dream of campus ownership a reality!
Thanks to the visionary work of our Board of Trustees and to the generosity of our lead donors, including many alumni, past trustees and friends in the community, we are fast approaching the half-way mark of our Phase I goal of raising $1.5M in pledges and cash donations by December, 31, 2013.
Campaign Overview
Bridges Capital Campaign was initially launched to fund a permanent home for Bridges. In February 2011, with campaign leadership in place and significant seed money in hand, we took ownership of our very own campus for the first time in our history! Having a permanent home allows us to increase enrollment, develop new and innovative programs, design a campus with 2e students in mind and further develop The 2e Center for Research and Professional Development (The 2e Center).
Bridges Capital Campaign seeks to raise a total of $3.5 million to: (1) reduce debt related to the purchase of our campus, (2) fund interim and longer-¬range Master Planning and construction of Campus Advancements, and (3) further develop and expand The 2e Center. While the purchase of a permanent home for Bridges is cause for excitement and celebration, significant work lies ahead to fully utilize and develop the space for current and future programming and expansion of The 2e Center.
